"Our flowers come from the best growers around the world. A lot of care and thought goes into ensuring that our flowers last for the longest possible time. BUT PLEASE REMEMBER THAT YOUR FLOWERS NEED WATER"

    FLOWER BOUQUETS
  • Unpack flowers immediately
  • Remove any water vials which have been shipped with your roses. These provide only temporary water source during delivery
  • In a clean vase mix the floral preservative with room temperature water, in the proportion recommended on the package. Floral preservative provides sugar, balances pH, and limits bacterial growth
  • Remove any leaves which would be immersed in water, being careful not to scrape or cut through the green bark of the stems. Air may enter stems at such injuries, blocking water uptake
  • Gently remove any outermost petals which may have been bruised during shipping. Removing a few petals will not damage a blossom and will often help it open more fully
  • Using a sharp pair of scissors, cut the bottom 2 to 3 centimetres from the flower stems, preferably under water, at a angle so that the flower stems do not rest on the bottom of the container. This simple set-up will help your flowers absorb flower food, while eliminating stem-clogging bacteria
  • Place the flowers in your vase before the stems dry off
  • Arrange flowers in a vase and top up with lukewarm to cool water when required.
  • Check your bouquet daily to make sure it has plenty of clear, fresh water
  • Remove any damaged of dying foliage or flowers
  • Display your bouquet in a cool location, out of direct sunlight or drafts and away from electrical appliances (for safety and to avoid heat). Don’t set flowers on top of a TV.

    VASE/BOWL ARRANGEMENTS
  • Do not remove flowers from the vase/bowl
  • In a bottle, mix enclosed floral preservative with room temperature water, in the proportion recommended on the package, and top up arrangement every second day
  • Check the water supply immediately upon arrival.
  • If floral foam is used, make sure it is always thoroughly saturated.
  • If the water appears dirty after a couple of days, replace it completely.
  • This simple set-up will help your flowers absorb cut flower food, while eliminating stem-clogging bacteria. Then, let the roses float on the water surface with the stem ends below water and the rose heads in a straightened position. In many cases, the roses will revive and harden within about an hour, ready to be returned to your arrangement.
  • Display your arrangement in a cool location, out of direct sunlight or drafts and away from electrical appliances (for safety and to avoid heat). Do not set flowers on top of a TV.

Always use a clean vase and scissors, taking care not to crush or damage the stems.

Enjoy!
